This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 23, 2007:
I learned that we often see the world through our own interpretations. It can be a good thing, but it can be a very bad thing too. Our thoughts often determine what we think as the real reallity.
Yesterday, I received an email from a friend, and found tou that she and my other firends are hanging with themselveswihtout me. So I decided to get upset and jealous. But the truth is, we often hang out together sometimes with each other, but sometimes not with everyone. The point is, I made a decision to be upset. It was wasted energy because my reality was then shaped by what I perceived-friends excluding me when in fact, that wasn't the case.
I need to learn to not jump to conclusion so quickly, and not be so reactive. Sometimes, just let situations be what they are. I don't need to interpret, and jump to conclusions.
